Will I be charged?
The consultation and most procedures are bulk-billed. Some materials (specialised dressings) attract a small private fee — quoted up front.
How do I prepare?
Wear loose clothing, eat normally, bring someone to drive you home for larger excisions.
How long is recovery?
Most patients return to normal activity within 24 hours. Larger excisions may need 1–2 weeks of care.
Will it leave a scar?
All wounds leave some scar, but our experienced GPs use careful suturing techniques to minimise scarring. Flap and graft repairs by Dr Chakraborty give excellent cosmetic outcomes.
