Childrens Health — your questions answered
Do you do the 4-year-old Healthy Kids Check?
Yes — fully bulk-billed and takes about 20 minutes. Includes growth, vision, hearing, dental, behaviour and school readiness.
Can my baby be seen the same day if unwell?
Yes — we keep emergency slots for unwell children every day. Call (03) 7017 5932 in the morning or book online via HotDoc.
Are immunisations really free?
All vaccines on the National Immunisation Program (NIP) schedule are free for eligible children. The administration consultation is also bulk-billed.
My child missed some vaccines — what now?
The NIP covers free catch-up vaccinations for children up to age 19. Book a longer appointment so we can plan it properly using the Australian Immunisation Register.
Can I bring my children together for vaccinations?
Yes — we encourage it. Booking back-to-back saves you time and lets us check siblings' records together.
What about ADHD or learning concerns?
Initial assessment can be done by your GP, and we have referral pathways to paediatricians and child psychologists in the area.
