General Practice — your questions answered
Do I need an appointment or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome whenever we're open (Mon–Fri 9 AM–8 PM, Sat–Sun 9 AM–2 PM) — but booking via HotDoc gives you a guaranteed time and lets you choose your preferred GP.
Are first visits longer than usual?
Yes — new patients are encouraged to book a longer appointment so we can take a full medical history, check past results, organise repeats and set up your file properly.
Can I request a male or female GP?
Absolutely. Just specify when booking online and we'll match you accordingly. We currently have 3 female GPs and 5 male GPs on the team.
What if I need an after-hours doctor?
For urgent care after hours, please call 13SICK (National Home Doctor Service), or for emergencies call 000. The clinic is closed on public holidays.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes — phone and video telehealth is available for established patients for follow-ups, prescriptions, mental health reviews and many SHIP consultations.
Can I bring my whole family?
Of course — we are a family practice. You can book consecutive appointments for the whole household. Mention 'family' to reception so we book accordingly.
