Bulk Billing

We bulk bill patients who hold a current Medicare card. Some pathology testing may incur additional fees.

Allied health services and specialist consultations may attract a fee. The fee will vary depending on the complexity of the service or procedure

Services excluded from bulk billing include:

  • WorkCover
  • RHCA Medicare cardholders
  • Procedures
  • Pap smears
  • Pre-employment medical assessments
  • Driver assessment forms
  • Medical reports
  • Skin cancer checks
OSHC/OVC Membership Holder

We do not charge an out-of-pocket (gap) fee for general practitioner consultations.

Our billings for patients holding an OSHC/OVC membership are;

  • Item 23 (Short consultation) – $38.75
  • Item 36 (Standard consultation) – $75.05
  • Item 44 (Long consultation) – $110.50
Private Patients

For patients who do not have a Medicare card or OSHC/OVC membership, the following fees apply;

  • Short consultation – $50
  • Standard consultation – $75
  • Long consultation – $120

Appointment Information

Please bring the following to your first appointment:

  • WorkCover patients
    You will need to advise your employer of the appointment and bring your employer’s contact details to arrange for payment.
  • Interpreter
    If you require a translator or other assistance with communication, please notify reception when you make an appointment. A phone interpreter may be available but will need to be arranged prior to your appointment.
