Our on-site psychologist, Maida Kanwal, is a fully Registered General Psychologist with a passion for working with individuals from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds and across all age groups. If you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you can book sessions with Maida at our clinic.

Standard visits run 10–15 minutes; longer appointments for complex needs.
Test results, referrals, prescriptions — managed via patient portal or phone.
Most services are bulk-billed for valid Medicare card holders.
We ask that you kindly give us at least 48 hours’ notice via email or telephone for appointment cancellation/reschedules. Short-notice cancellations (less than 1 business days’ notice)and no shows will result in a cancellation fee of the full session amount and will be charged to your account/NDIS plan or private insurance.
Please note: the cancellation fee is NOT covered by Medicare and will be charged at the time of your missed appointment.

No it's not bulk-billed
Not always. The Care Plan unlocks the bulk-billed Medicare sessions. If you'd prefer to see Maida privately (without a referral), private fees apply — contact reception for current rates.
Initial assessments are 60–90 minutes. Follow-up sessions are 50–60 minutes.
Absolutely. Psychology is a confidential service. Information is shared only with your GP for continuity of care, never with employers or insurers without your explicit written consent.
Maida sees children, teens, adults and seniors — across all ages and backgrounds. She specifically welcomes culturally diverse clients.
