Susan Tegg-Quinn

Audiologist

Susan Tegg-Quinn, is a highly-experienced, fully-qualified audiologist and registered nurse. She is a graduate of the University of Melbourne School of Audiology, a member of Audiology Australia and Independent Audiologists Australia. She has undertaken extensive training in tinnitus and sound intolerance assessment and management both in Australia and overseas. Susan is actively engaged in research to improve the assessment and management of tinnitus and is currently undertaking a PhD through the University of Western Australia and Ear Science Australia.



Nader Attia

Podiatrist

Nader studied at La Trobe University in Melbourne where he obtained a Bachelor degree in Health Sciences and a Masters of Podiatric practice in 2014. Since then Nader has developed a passion for the management of sports related injuries in athletes and active people as well as treating patients suffering with Diabetes. In his time working as a podiatrist Nader established himself as a podiatry mentor, assisting and training new graduate podiatrists in their first year of podiatric practice. He looks to the ever-evolving field of sports podiatry and is able to construct biomechanical treatment plans for his patients.

In his spare time you will find Nader doing small projects around the house and spending time with his wife and son. He’s an avid soccer fan and enjoys learning new things.



Anne Zhu

Dietitian

Anne is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) who completed a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics at Flinders University. She is passionate about assisting clients of all age and cultural groups to meet their health goals and adapt lifelong changes.

Anne also has a keen interest in diabetes, weight management, heart disease and gastrointestinal issues. When Anne was in high school, all her friends and herself were dieting using multiple unhealthy methods and their love to food withered away because of their unpleasant dieting experience. Since then, Anne was determined to study nutrition and dietetics to help herself and others to improve their health and well-being whilst maintaining a healthy and sustainable relationship with their food.

Anne is also able to consult in Mandarin and Cantonese.



Danielle McCubbin

Credentialled Diabetes Educator

Danielle McCubbin is a Credentialled Diabetes Educator and has been a Registered Nurse for over 25 years.

Danielle’s qualifications also include a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education and Graduate Certificate in Human Nutrition. She is also a published coauthor with her book Global Women in Business.

Diabetes Education provides you with information and practical skills to assist you to manage Diabetes every day.

Education includes a range of topics such as:

  • What is Diabetes?
  • Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes
  • Diabetes in Pregnancy
  • Carbohydrates/Carbohydrate counting
  • Exercise
  • Blood glucose monitoring and NDSS registration
  • Diabetes Complications
  • Assistance with Insulin or other Injectable medications in conjunction with your doctor
  • Insulin pump starts and upgrades
  • Continuous glucose monitoring systems

Consultations are tailored to suit your requirements.

Consultations with Danielle under the Care plan referral arrangement are Bulk billed to Medicare

Private Consultations: $70 or $60 (concession)

Sarah Backhous

BHLTHSCI & MSPPATH, CPSP

Sarah is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist who works with children and adults of all ages. She enjoys supporting children experiencing a wide range of communication difficulties including speech and language delays, stutters, selective mutism, and childhood apraxia of speech. She also has a passion for working with adults with dysphagia (swallowing difficulties) and complex communication needs, including those who use communication devices.

Sarah accepts Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plans (care plans); Home Care Packages; Self-Managed and Plan-Managed NDIS plans; as well as private paying clients. There is an out-of-pocket fee for Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plans (care plans). Referrals are not required for private paying clients or NDIS participants.



Maida Kanwal

General Psychologist

I am a fully Registered General Psychologist, who is passionate towards working with individuals from Culturally And Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds and different age groups. I value using a strength-based approach in my practice in supporting my clients and their families. This helps them to strive towards gaining more control over their situations and reaching their own personal goals, thus, improved quality of life. My main values are respect, empathy and open/ honest communication. I believe these three things highly contribute to a thorough understanding of individuals and further assists me into helping them achieve their ambitions. I am a firm believer in, sharing helps heal. I wish nothing more for my clients but the ability to be a part of their wellness and growth.
